strangest thing
lawn mower men are out
on a rainy Tuesday
engines roaring
outside my bedroom window
their blades cutting
sweet wet grass
they blow the leaves
into wet piles of disease
their engines reek of oil
sick and slick
it's not everyday
that the men arrive
but they do
